Renewal of IGS Company’s ISO 17020 Certification for Commodity Inspection in 20 Product Categories by the National Accreditation Center of Iran

The 10th Qualification Committee of the National Accreditation Center of Iran, focusing on inspection bodies, convened on July 13, 2024, with representatives from governmental organizations and specialized associations at the Center’s headquarters.

Following this meeting, the National Accreditation Center announced that, based on the results of audits, document reviews in compliance with ISO 17020 standards, and the evaluation team’s reports and recommendations, it was decided to renew IGS Company’s Commodity Inspection Certification. This certification covers 20 categories of import and export goods, including:

Medical devices and equipment – Wood, wood products, cellulose, and paper – Textiles and leather – Common metals and their products – Mechanical devices and equipment, components, and parts – Chemical products – Petroleum, oil-based materials, and petrochemicals – Power-driven vehicles, components, and parts – Polymer and plastic products – Non-metallic minerals and construction materials – Measuring instruments and precision tools – Electrical appliances and equipment, components, and parts – Miscellaneous products – Precious stones, metals, and their products – Mineral resources – Grains – Non edible agricultural products – Edible oils and fats – Health and cosmetic products – Food products, agricultural goods, and food additives.

This renewal underscores IGS’s comprehensive capability in commodity inspection across diverse industries.
